Advanced Hamstrings program also develops full control and strength in the deep ranges of the hamstrings. The control is expanded to include both the flexors and extensors of the hip. Holding a high front kick or a standing leg raise would be an example of the former. Holding a high back kick or a panche would be an example of the later.
Prior to working on this program student is expected to work on the intermediate hamstrings program. Being able to touch the wrist to the toes is the minimal requirement for starting this program. If that is not possible the intermediate hamstrings program should be trained first.
